Just thought I'd finally introduce myself as I've been steadily making my way through this awesome community. Been a bit of an ant enthusiast for awhile though never really kept a colony (with a queen) before. I'm hoping to bring this hobby back up and enjoy the experience as I try to keep my very own colony for the first time. At the moment I'm keeping 8 newly mated P. imparis queens in test tube setups so we'll see how that goes.
Also, really enjoyed the AntsCanada youtube videos (pretty much binged on all of them in a matter of days) and also just purchased my very first omni nest from the store! Hope to make good use of all this material for the New England nuptial flights coming up
