what is the most craziest thing you feed your ants?

i'm interested. what is the most craziest thing you feed your ants? something like Mikey feeding his ants a sugar statue of Trump and Hillary.

I have fed my Fire Ants a mouse before. It was what you call a "pinkie" (baby mouse). The colony isn't big enough just quite yet to eat a full sized mouse before it starts decaying and stinking. My ants are in my computer room (which is always warm due to the computer running 24/7 and also my 3d printer) and the last thing I want to smell is a rotten mouse! LOL

Well, once I froze a wild cricket and gave it to my ants. When I checked in them in the morning, it turned out the cricket was in a hibernating state! So yeah, a living cricket.

It would be really disgusting and abusive if anybody actually wanted to watch a living mouse slowly stung to death by ants.

Mice don't get used to it. Feed a pre-killed mouse for all I care, but letting a mouse get stung to death by ants is just as abusive as letting dog or cat be stung to death by ants.

You're right they dont, it only happens to them once.
To each their own though, right. Im not debating your opinion, ive had this same conversation with hundreds of customers at the reptile shops ive worked at. And it always ends with both parties having the same opinion as when they started. I just keep in mind these feeders are bred and born for this sole purpose (unlike dogs or cats). FYI no one has said if this mouse was alive or dead yet. But i know some people do feed live and thats their prerogative. Just like its yours to feed what you want how you want.
I personally prefer pre killed but i dont judge or have a problem with others for what they do with their stuff.
