Hey guys! Im gonna be headed to Australia in a few days and I'm looking forward to all the different ant species there! The male termites and ants that died probably did mate and were attracted to your house lights at night. After they mate they die. Such a sad life style. Hopefully you can find yourself some beautiful fertilized queen ants!!! :D

You've picked some very bold species of ants to look for. Can be more difficult than the more abundant species. The false honey pot ant was difficult for me to find, nuptial flight season is usually in the winter/ when it's cold, but even then, you will only see the workers! Camponotuc are easier, m...
